A man died yesterday afternoon as the result of a solo vehicle accident near Hollister. 52 year-old Hollister resident Steven Lawrence was declared dead at the scene near the intersection of Shore Road and San Felipe Road. The cause of the 3:15 p.m. accident is still under investigation.
