THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE HAS RELEASED A STUDY REVEALING THE HEALTH OF ALMOND PRODUCTION IN CALIFORNIA. THE YIELD FOR THIS YEAR IS PROJECTED TO REACH OVER 2 BILLION POUNDS. THE ESTIMATE IS ALMOST 5% GREATER THAN LAST YEAR’S TOTAL. OTHER CALIFORNIA CROPS, SUCH AS APRICOTS AND GRAPEFRUITS, ARE YIELDING LESS FRUIT THAN LAST SEASON.
