All Californians are urged to “check-in” on seniors who have underlying health issues. Governor Newsom has also urged non-profit health organizations to help get the word out to this vulnerable population, that if they are in need of help (or access to groceries, or medication) that they can call 2-1-1.
People with Cancer can also contact the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, while folks with Lung Disease can contact the American Lung Association, people with Heart Issues can contact the American Heart Association, and people with Chronic Health Issues can contact the California Chronic Care Coalition.
