3 members of the U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES were on-hand recently for an Agricultural Round Table in Salinas. The event was designed to gather information on agricultural concerns on the central coast….to determine what aspects need to be addressed in the upcoming re-authorization of the Farm Bill. The Farm Bill is an omnibus, that is re-authored about every 5 years, and governs an array of agricultural and food-related programs. The provisions of the current farm bill are due to expire September 30th of 2018.
