The Santa Cruz Volunteer Center is asking the community for their help this holiday season in supporting local families by adopting a family-in-need. Iindividuals, families, business, clubs or churches are invited to open their hearts by adopting one of the 400 struggling families dealing with poverty, homelessness or the effects of a slow economy to meet their basic needs by providing food and warm winter clothing.
