the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control has awarded a grant to the Watsonville Police Department to reduce alcohol-related crimes and issues in the city, this includes preventative and educational programs such as LEAD (Licensee Education on Alcohol and Drugs) training. the a-b-c will be holding a 4 hour LEAD seminar at the Watsonville Community Room located on the 4th floor of the Civic Plaza, 275 Main Street, on March 18th from 12 PM to 4 PM. This workshop is free of charge. Local business owners with alcohol licenses and/or their employees are encouraged to attend. a Certificate of Completion will be issued to those participants who attend and complete the course.
