A STOPP operation was carried out in Salinas yesterday. Every month 10 law enforcement agencies in Monterey County participate in the Strategic Traffic Observation Prevention Program. During a five hour operation, 94 stops were conducted, 54 moving violation and 19 mechanical citations were issued, and another six cars were impounded for drivers’ license violations.
