A reward is now being offered for information on the dogs thrown from a car near Watsonville last week. The female 6 year old miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix and her 6 week old pup had been sealed in a sand bag and tossed from a moving vehicle on Minto Road near the landfill. The puppy died of head trauma while the adult dog is recovering at the shelter. The Pet Food Express Company is offering $5000 , and a private citizen another thousand for information leading to the arrest of responsible parties.
