A Friday night head on collision in Capitola is being investigated. The accident happened about 7:30 p.m. on Portola west of 41st Avenue when an Aptos motorcyclist crossed the double yellow lines and impacted with a vehicle occupied by two women. The man was transported to the hospital before being airlifted to a bay area trauma center. The female victims were treated for injuries at Dominican hospital. Alcohol may be a factoring the accident which remains under investigation.
