A 911 call led to the lockdown of Watsonville High yesterday (Thursday). Shortly after 12 p.m. police responded to a call reporting a youth fighting with a woman near Bridge and Blackburn Streets. Authorities locked down the campus after learning the juvenile was seen on school grounds with a pistol. Officers located the suspect and a foot chase ensued ending when the 17 year old male was taken into custody on Lincoln Street. A bb gun modified to replicate a firearm was recovered. The 17 year old, who is not a Watsonville High student, was booked into Juvenile Hall.
