With the fire season in-progress, tri-county area landowners are being asked to create defensible space around their homes. All necessary information can be found on-line at: ReadyForWildfire.org or by speaking with your local fire department. Many fire departments will also do inspections, and then give people ideas about how those people can ‘harden their homes (and property) against wildfires’.
