Monterey and San Benito county have moved to the Yellow Tier of the state’s Blueprint For A Safer Economy. The yellow Tier means that businesses can nearly double their customer capacity, and for the Monterey Bay Aquarium…..it can open at full capacity. Movie theaters, gyms and fitness centers and restaurants can all open at 50 percent capacity indoors.
Santa Cruz county moved to the Yellow Tier 2 weeks ago, and on June 15th the state of California is expected to lift capacity limits and physical distancing mandates.
