The new homeless shelter in Salinas has opened. The Share Navigation Center (which is designed to feel like a home) is located off Laurel Drive, and people working there will provide a safe space, as well as working to help the un-housed get back on their feet. People can stay there for up to 90 days, and then the folks employed there will work to find people permanent housing. Residents will have a bedroom, a dog kennel (for those who have pets), and space in the garden.
