A pilot, who was experiencing mechanical issues, ended up landing the plane in a dirt field north of a San Benito county airport. The 2 p.m. incident occurred near the Frazier Lake Airport yesterday. No injuries were reported in connection with that emergency landing, and there was only minor damage to the underside of the wings.
