Beach goers in Carmel can now use the Smokeless fire pits. There are five fire rings between Tenth and Twelfth Avenues. Authorities say fires should be made with clean dry wood and fire makers should bring water to extinguish fires. The rings can be used from 4 to 10 p-m.
