A chef, who was killed while working at a Wisconsin casino, was a graduate of Soquel High School. 32 year-old Ian Simpson was killed by a former co-worker in the may 1st shooting at Duck Creek Kitchen And Bar. That shooting left 3 dead and 1 wounded. Simpson, who was described as optimistic, fearlessly loyal, courageous, and loving, had been back in Soquel for a visit just a week before he died.
