Instead of a virtual graduation, as CSUMB held for the 2020 class, the class of 2021 will have a “car parade”….with students staying inside their cars. The May 22nd event is scheduled to held in lot 59, which is located at the intersection of 7th Avenue and “A” Street. The students will be broken up into groups who are graduating with the same degree…..and while the first group is scheduled to start at 9 a.m., the final group isn’t slated to start until 1:30 p.m. Graduates can have family members and friends in their vehicles. Only faculty, staff and cheer squads will be allowed along the parade route.
