Santa Cruz City Councilmembers announced a search for the next City Manager.
The current manager, Martín Bernal, is retiring next month.
Community input will take importance with this search, and a survey was issued to help leaders search for what members of the public would like to see in the next manager for the city of Santa Cruz.
The firm Teri Black & Company LLC is conducting the candidate search along with a subcommittee which consists of councilmembers Mayor Meyers, Vice Mayor Brunner, and Councilmember Golder.
A new manager for the city of Santa Cruz is scheduled to be announced in August.
