Officers with Salinas Police and K9 Oakley served a search warrant in the 700 block of Middlefield Rd.
Officers pulled over the main suspect of the search warrant Paul Leyba and Juan Perez, as they left the residence.
Once Officers arrived Paul’s brother, Sammy Leyba who is currently on felony gang probation in Monterey County was discovered. Once everyone was detained all three suspects were searched. K9 Oakley began a search of the residence locating four (4) ounces of methamphetamine and a loaded stolen firearm. A vehicle in the driveway was found to have another loaded unregistered firearm. Over 44,000 dollars was found and suspected being as part of drug sale proceeds .
All three males were transported to the Monterey County Jail on several gun and drug charges.
