A Covid-19 vaccine clinic in Marina has started accepting walk-ins. To be eligible, people must be a resident of, or work in, Monterey county. Although people can just walk-in to get their 1st dose, appointments are still recommended (and can be made at www.MyTurn.ca.gov) because walk-ins are ‘subject to availability’. The Montage Wellness Center is located on 2nd Avenue in Marina.
They will be varying between offering the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. More information on that schedule can be found on the Montage Health website.
At this time, Pfizer is the only vaccine with the clearance to be administered to 16 and 17 year-olds.
