Toro County Park in Monter ey County is scheduled to re-open to the public, after spending 8 months closed as a result of last summer’s River Fire, Visitors to the park are asked to tread lightly, and not cut across areas between trails….and to be aware of displaced wildlife such as wild pigs, turkeys and even cougars. The park is scheduled to re-open at 8 a.m. on Monday. Admission will be 2 dollars for those who walk in, 10 dollars for vehicles with 4 or less people in them, and 15 dollars for vehicles with more than 4 people inside. There are discounts for veterans and students; and children under 5 years-old get in for free.
