A reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people who have shot at least 2 cats with BB’s since march. The shootings took place at an apartment complex in Watsonville near the intersection of East Beach and Lincoln Streets. One of the cats died and the other recovered after being treated. The reward being offered by P.E.T.A. is up to $5,000. Anyone with information on this case is encouraged to contact the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter .
