No one appears to have been physically injured by the fire that broke out in the Hell’s Trail homeless encampment Friday night. The blaze was reported under a bridgeway, near the area of Highway 1 and River Street around 7:45 p.m. Friday night, before it spread into the nearby vegetation. Although the Santa Cruz Fire Department is still investigating, exploding propane tanks are thought to have been a possible cause of this fire.
