A 73 year-old Santa Cruz resident now faces charges of making several Felony Threats. That after he threatened someone with a large knife Thursday afternoon in Santa Cruz. The situation was reported around 3:30 p.m., and after threatening that person the suspect barricaded himself in someone else’s vehicle. Within an hour; Santa Cruz crisis negotiators and mental health workers convinced the retired military veteran to allow himself to be taken into custody.
