25 people were displaced by a fire at an apartment complex in Salinas early this morning. Although some had to jump out of 2nd-story windows (and were injured in those jumps), no one died while trying to exit the building. The fire, which began in 2 apartments, spread to 6 before firefighter s were able to put out the flames. The cause of the 3 a.m. blaze is still being investigated.
A GoFundMe account has been created to raise funds for the 25 people displaced by that early Saturday morning apartment complex fire on Harvest Street.
