On Tuesday at about 1:06 am King City Police Officers responded to a report of gunshots fired in the area of 60 Broadway Cir. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male on the ground who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as 31-year-old Miguel Angel Aviles of King City, CA, died from his injuries.
Police investigators say the victim was in the area of Broadway Circle and River Drive when he got into an alter cation with a subject.
Watsonville PD has posted two pictures of a young man as having been in the area of the incident when it occurred. Video evidence shows the individual may be a witness and is not a party to the commission of the crime.
