The Santa Cruz county Zoning Administrator has approved a trail system that would connect the city of Watsonville with Pajaro Valley High School. The 12-foot wide, 1.4 mile long bicycle and pedestrian trail would connect with a variety of trails through a number of local sloughs….and even eventually is planned to connect to the 32-mile Coastal Rail Trail. In the meantime, this first portion, that will create an alternate method of getting to/from Pajaro Valley High School, is now expected to break ground next year.
