Salinas-based Taylor Farms gave more than 800 farm workers and field supervisors in Yuma Arizona the Covid-19 vaccine yesterday…..before those workers migrate to Salinas Valley fields. The vaccination clinic was a joint effort of Taylor Farms, the Yuma Health Department and the National Guard.
These workers are expected to get their second dose of the vaccine before they actually migrate to the Central Coast next month.
Taylor Farms hopes to vaccinate another 1200 employees by the end of this week.
