A Santa Cruz man has been arrested and is accused of stealing mail in the Boulder Creek-area. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office reports nearly a half-dozen reports of mail theft in that area since last Wednesday.
Resident-provided surveillance video allowed deputies to identify Richard Gilreath and arrest him at his home in Santa Cruz. Deputies said stolen mail was also found and will be forwarded by law enforcement to its rightful owners.
