A Watsonville-based organization, that has been staging open-air art shows around the city, now has a grant from the Arts Council Of Santa Cruz County to continue that work. Arte Del Corazon (which translates to Art From The Heart) has been showcasing the work of artists from around the county who paint, draw, sculpt, make jewelry, do photography, and make fabric arts. The exhibits take place every 1st Friday of the month at Romo Park, and every 3rd Saturday at 1997 Freedom Boulevard from 10 a.m. To 4 p.m.
Soon they hope to offer family oriented virtual art classes soon that will include kits with all needed supplies.
