The A T & T Pebble Beach Pro-Am kicks off today, but a very little about the tournament will be like in years past. No spectators, no stadium seating, no concession stands, no shuttle buses, no gluts of visitors and locals everywhere in the area, no crazy traffic. The professional golfers are really the only additional people in the area. Some of those changes means it is costing a lot less to put on the event ( that normally raises millions of dollars for local charities). Fortunately, the title sponsor, and most of the secondary sponsors, have stayed on.
