Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing the Covid 19 numbers. Comparing the state of Hawaii to Okinawa since they have similar populations. Saying that Hawaii has a lot more infections and deaths because people there are eating wheat based products and foods. Asserting that the gluten in the wheat destroys the villi in the intestines. Compromising the body’s ability to absorb nutrients needed to support the immune system.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study of fatty liver disease. Researchers finding that there is a link between type 2 diabetes and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. In fact finding that some 80% of diabetics have a fatty liver. Supported by a few other studies that found the same correlation.
