With an estimated 20 fires breaking out in Santa Cruz since Monday… approximately 7000 customers… most in boulder creek are still without power.
According to a p-g and e spokesman as of 6:30 this morning 3,000 in Boulder Creek are in the dark, 913 in Felton, 335 in Scotts Valley and 903 in Santa Cruz. Almost all will be restored by this afternoon or this evening. About 1,000 folks in boulder creek tho won’t have restoration until tomorrow morning.
For firefighters, today’s rain is a welcome relief and is expected to last through out the weekend.
