With a Covid-19 test positivity rate of 85 per 100,000 people, it doesn’t look as though students will be on-campus in Monterey county anytime soon. The test positivity rate needs to be 25 or less to get students back into their physical classrooms. That said, once the current cases resolve, and mass vaccinations are taking place, that could change fairly quickly. Currently, vaccinations are still only for people in Phase 1a, Tiers 1, 2, and 3.
