Cabrillo College gets a shot in the arm from the federal government to the tune of 8-point-8 million dollars. The money will provide a minimum of 2-million dollars be given directly to students for emergency grants.
Approximately 500-dollars will be disbursed to students in need as soon as possible. The money comes under the “2020 corona virus response and relief supplemental appropriations act” to help the college with Covid 19 instruction.
The grant will also be used to upgrade online learning tools.
