Dentists in California will soon be able to administer Covid-19 vaccines. That after Governor Gavin Newsom waived some restrictions. Dentists (who opt to help with the vaccination program) will need to get trained by the CDC to deliver the vaccines. Dentists who administer the vaccine will also be able to administer epinephrine and/or diphenhydramine, in case of a patient’s severe allergic reaction to the Covid-19 vaccine.
