Officials with the County of Santa Cruz state that rainfall totals for the upcoming storms are not expected to trigger evacuations near the CZU August Lightning Complex fire burn scar.
While rain is expected to be heavy at times, rainfall totals are forecasted to be no greater than an inch-and-a-half for those in the mountains with up to an inch of rain for those in the city of Santa Cruz.
However, the county would like to remind those who live or work within the burn scar of the August wildfires should sign up for reverse 911 alerts at SCR911.Org.
