Carmel Fire – Cause 12-29-20 12:47 S.S.

The  cause  of  the  Carmel  Fire,  that  destroyed  73  structures  in  the  Cachagua  area  of  the  Carmel  Valley,  has  been  determined  to  have  been  caused  by  a  vehicle.    The  Carmel  Fire  burned  6,905  acres  between  when  it  began  August 18^th,  and  when  it  was  100  percent  contained  on  September  4^th.
