On Christmas Eve, the Hollister Animal Shelter announced that they are closing to the public until further notice.
The closure is due to a potential exposure to COVID-19 within the facility.
Officials state that animal care within the shelter will continue, field services will remain active as deemed necessary, and encourage those needing to report animal related emergencies to call 911.
