A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a car in Soquel on Saturday. Shortly after 5:30 p-m a pedestrian was in a crosswalk on Soquel Drive and Rodeo Gulch when he was struck by a motorist who was unable to stop in time. The victim was transported to a trauma center. The driver remained at the scene. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor.
