A breakthrough at u-c-s-c in developing a faster testing method for antibodies to the virus that causes Covid 19.
Researchers at U-C Santa Cruz are working on a test that can provide results in 20 minutes rather than 4 to 6 hours. So far, test results are reliable.
While the tests do not show if a person currently has covid-19, they are used to determine if somebody has already had it.
