Junior year students from Scotts Valley High School are collecting blankets, coats, and sweaters and distribute them to the local homeless community.
Collecting of these items is taking place now through November.
Meanwhile, homeless advocates are expressing gratitude as the winter season begins and temperatures begin to drop.
