It was fun while it lasted… just one weekend and now the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk is closed again.
The boardwalk earned the distinction of the first amusement park in the state to re-open during the deadly pandemic. While the iconic park was open on a limited basis to county residents only… a step back into the red tier has forced the closure once again.
But boardwalk management seems to be taking the news in stride saying that the health and safety of all is a priority. Meanwhile… bigger parks like Disneyland and Universal Studios might not open until next summer.
