U.C, Santa Cruz’ approval of the Student Housing West Project has been rescinded by a Santa Cruz County Superior Court judge. That after a California Environmental Quality Act lawsuit was filed by the East Meadow Action Committee. Reportedly Judge Paul Burdick said that U.C. Regents failed to be transparent with the public…..and that the alternatives to this housing project were rejected by only 3 of the Regents, instead of the necessary 9.
