A water war on the Monterey peninsula is brewing over the possible take over of California American Water… which has some of the highest rate’s in the region.
Yesterday the water management district board voted to certify an essential environmental impact report required to move forward with a potential public buyout of cal am’s water system.
It’s likely that cal am will go to court in an effort to avoid a potential buyout.
