Those citations can cost up to 800 dollars a piece, and several of those businesses have reportedly been cited a number of times. 20 other Monterey county businesses are on the county’s “Watch List”. Businesses that have been cited in Monterey can continue to operate, although they have to either pay the fine, or appear before a judge in a timely fashion.
