7  Monterey  county  businesses  have  been  cited  for  violating  health  orders  related  to  the  Covid-19  pandemic.     Those  citations  can  cost  up  to  800  dollars  a  piece,  and  several  of  those  businesses  have  reportedly  been  cited  a  number  of  times.     20  other  Monterey  county  businesses  are  on  the  county’s  “Watch  List”.     Businesses  that  have  been  cited  in  Monterey  can  continue  to  operate, although  they  have  to  either  pay  the  fine,  or  appear  before a judge in a timely fashion.     Food  service  businesses,  that  have  been  cited  in  Monterey  county,  are  being  sent  letters  ordering  them  to  comply  immediately,  or  risk having  their  permit  pulled  by  the  county.
