Over the weekend, KSCO held “Stuff the Boot,” a fundraiser to help local volunteer firefighters who worked to battle the CZU August Lightning Complex Fire.
Zayante and Felton Fire Chiefs were on scene as well as Central Fire and Aptos Fire strutting to stuff those boots, bringing fire engines for the public to view.
Food was provided by Erin Buchla from Cruise Coffee in Scotts Valley, Signage made for the event were donated by Scout Troup 614.
Adam Ferrara, an actor, and comedian donated to the cause along with 2 autographed photos.
KSCO would like to thank the community for their support, raising over $5500 in 4 hours.
Proceeds from this fundraiser are going to the volunteer firefighters of Felton Fire, Zayante Fire, Boulder Creek Fire, and Ben Lomond.
