A Monterey county man along with a pharmacist from mexico are implicated in a deadly Fentanyl case back in 2019.
According to the u-s department of justice, Mathew Sanchez sold counterfeit fentanyl laced pills he got from Francisco Rodriguez, a pharmacist in Mexico.
According to the indictment, Sanchez sold the pills to an un-named Monterey county resident in September 2019, who died of an overdose.
