Monterey Co Free Drive-Thru COVID Testing 10-08-20A 04:21 S.S.

Free Drive-Thru testing for Covid-19 is now scheduled to take place from today through next Friday (October 16th). The testing will be held in a variety of locations, and at different times of day in Monterey County. The first one is slated to be held in the parking lot of Castroville Public Library….from 1 until 7 p.m. today. The library is located at 11160 Speegle Street.

Some of the other drive-thru testing locations are scheduled to take place in Gonzales, Soledad, King City, Salinas, Marina, and Seaside.

This drive-thru testing is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and is only for residents aged 18 years and older. Participants are asked to bring a photo I.D., however, a Monterey County Health Department spokesperson has said that testing does not affect immigration status, and that bilingual staff will be on-hand.

The testing is scheduled to be held at the following times and locations:

Castroville: Oct. 8 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Castroville County Library, 11160 Speegle Street
Gonzales: Oct. 8 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Toots Vosti Memorial Center, 107 Centennial Drive
Gonzales: Oct. 9 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Toots Vosti Memorial Center, 107 Centennial Drive
Soledad: Oct. 9 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Soledad High School, 435 Gabilan Drive
King City: Oct. 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at King City High School, 720 Broadway Street
Salinas: Oct. 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sherwood Hall, 940 N. Main Street
Salinas: Oct. 13 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sherwood Hall, 940 N. Main Street
Salinas: Oct. 13 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hartnell Alisal Campus, 1752 E. Alisal Street
Salinas: Oct. 14 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Hartnell Alisal Campus, 1752 E. Alisal Street
Marina: Oct. 14 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Marina County Library, 190 Seaside Circle
Marina: Oct. 15 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Marina County Library, 190 Seaside Circle
Seaside: Oct. 15 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Seaside High School, 2200 Noche Buena
Seaside: Oct. 16 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Seaside High School, 2200 Noche Buena

The county said testing does not affect immigration status, and bilingual staff are available.
