A push is underway in downtown Santa Cruz to have a somewhat permanent space to honor the black lives matter social movement.
The clock tower has served as a shrine for the B-L -M movement since June 4th, when it was erected to remember George Floyd.
Earlier this week, advocates of the altar say they want it to stay so they have a place to heal.
